Unmapped is being built by two people, with support from early investors. The app stores saved trips and notes on your device and has no ads.
If you choose to submit coverage measurements or roadside reports, location data in those submissions is sent to and stored on our servers. Coverage reports include precise coordinates, observation times, and signal details. You can upload manually or enable automatic uploads. Roadside reports include the reported location and the details you submit.
Online map, search, and direction requests also contact their service providers. Read what works offline and what leaves your phone.
We’ve secured our Apple developer license and received initial investment. With those milestones behind us, we’re working to publish Unmapped for early access. Thank you to our early investors and everyone supporting development. We’re also welcoming new investment inquiries.

Apple developer license secured
We now have our Apple developer license, another step toward publishing Unmapped for iPhone.
Initial investment received
We’ve received initial investment to support development and early access preparation. We’re continuing conversations with new investors.
Business bank account opened
Our dedicated business bank account is open, keeping company funds and support separate from personal finances.
D-U-N-S number approved
Our D-U-N-S number has been approved, reaching another milestone on the path to launch.
EIN received
The IRS has issued our Employer Identification Number, so the company now has its federal tax identity.
LLC approved
Our LLC filing is back from the state and approved. Unmapped is officially a company.
